Fat Loss Tips for Women - Strategies for Losing Weight Naturally

Fat Loss Tips , Can i lose Weight, Strategies for Losing Weight , How to lose Weight Fast
It has always been more difficult for women to win the battle of the bulge. Compared to their male counterparts, losing that excess load becomes a bit more challenging when we look at the physiological make-up of the ladies. For one, women have naturally slower metabolisms. Add this to the fact that men naturally burn more calories and can thus eat more without the worry that the excess intake will show in the most obvious places.

This is partly one of the reasons why most fitness regimens are catered towards women. The fairer sex need lots of encouragement, support and more effective routines to lose that excess baggage. Successfully getting that elusive curve becomes even more challenging right after pregnancy when the demands of motherhood often lead women to neglect their figure-only realizing a year or two later that the fat has grown to, ehem, unmanageable proportions!

If you're caught in such a quandary, always remember that fitness is a choice. You can choose to be healthy or allow that excess fat to ruin your life. Ladies on the heavy side, if you want to seriously look svelte and sexy, here are some tips you might want to keep in mind:

1- Eat Frequently

This might sound counterproductive to all you've heard, but it isn't. Eating 5 times a day-full meals and snacks combined-enables you to feel full all throughout the day. This lessens the chances that you'll binge on sugary concoctions like donuts, cakes and chocolates after having nothing the entire morning. Always have a piece of fruit or some nuts like almonds, on hand. Yogurt and tuna are also healthy, filling and delicious snack time favorites. Of course, for your main meals, make sure that you have enough grains, fruits, vegetables and protein in your diet. Go easy on the fat.

2- No Soda, Please

Restricting your daily soda habit-including the "diet" variety-can make you lose about 10 pounds in a week. Sodas are notorious for letting women gain weight because of water retention.

3- Exercise.

Keep moving to break a sweat, burn extra calories and lose weight.

4- If You Want to Look Toned, Lift Weights.

Contrary to popular belief, lifting weights three times a week won't let you become bulky. Instead, it will optimize your body and makes you look toned.

5- Stay Motivated

Get a bikini that are two sizes too small for you. Hang it in a place where you can best see it as you exercise. This will keep you motivated.

6- Go to Your Doctor

If you're beginning any workout, it would be best to seek medical opinion first to ensure that you can withstand the rigors of exercising to attain that supermodel figure.

Without the willpower and determination to succeed, those flat abs and curves will continue to remain an elusive dream. But by hungering for success, a healthy lifestyle and a trimmer you, achieving that elusive curve won't be so difficult after all.

11 Tips & Techniques to Lose Stubborn Belly Fat Fast

Lose Stubborn belly fat fast , Fat loss Techniques , Fat loss Tips
1. Workout at least 3 times a week - resistance training & intervals are best for Fat Loss. Perform both the Resistance Training & Interval Training on the same day 3 times a week, adding in 30 minutes of moderate activity on the days in between such as salsa, sports, walking etc...

2. Resistance Training is the most important part to any fat loss plan - yes even if you are a lady, you should still lift weights and do some strength training, especially weights that actually challenge your muscles and will sculpt the fit toned body while burning belly fat. Also I've found shorter more intense workouts such as circuit-style training and supersets combining resistance training & bodyweight cardio exercises for around 30 minutes is more effective at burning fat.

3. Intervals are much better than long steady state cardio and will boost your metabolism, burn more overall calories, and will help you lose your belly fat fast.

4. Realize that Each pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To Lose 1lb of Fat you must create a shortage of 3500 calories. (500 calories less a day = 1 pound of fat a week) It's much easier to cut 500 calories a day from your diet but your body will adapt pretty quickly if you don't include an exercise program.

5. Eat 6 small meals each day rather than 2-3 large meals. To do this you would need a well planned schedule including breakfast, a small morning snack, lunch, a small afternoon snack, a sensible dinner, and a small evening snack. Smaller more frequent meals help you control your blood sugar levels allowing you to avoid cravings and hunger pangs.

6. Record your Nutrition - women who take the time to record the foods they eat are significantly more successful in losing fat than the women who don't. A Journal causes you to plan ahead and be honest with yourself as you evaluate your actions. When you write down what you eat, you will be able to control the amount of food you are eating. You can't control something you know nothing about.

7. Social Support - If you don't have someone to cheer you on, it's going to be one hundred times harder than it needs to be.

8. Get Rid of The Scale - most women get disappointed and end up giving up if they weigh themselves every day - concentrate on how your clothes fit and inches (circumferences) and only measure those on a monthly basis.

9. Plan, Shop, Prepare - pick a day (I like Sunday's) and plan your week out (workouts/meals/goals etc), grocery shop and only buy things on your list, and prepare your food/workout clothes etc for the week ahead.

10. Be Consistent & Patient - don't try to change everything at once. Aim for 2-3 improvements each week eg. replace 1 calorie dense drink with 1 glass of water or green tea every day and add 1 piece of fruit or vegetable to your daily meal plan.

11. Enjoy! If you don't enjoy something - it'll be very difficult to stick with it! Find an activity that you can enjoy but still keep you active eg, salsa, rock climbing, volleyball etc.

5 Tips For Keeping Motivated to Lose Pounds As You Lose Fat

tips to make you motivated , fat loss motivation tips , tips for fat loss
If you've ever tried to lose weight or trim down a little, you'll know from experience that by far the biggest challenge is staying motivated. Many people are inspired at different points in their life to lose weight or slim down a little, whether from a sudden realisation that they are rounder than they used to be, or because their clothes don't fit so well anymore, or for a special occasion such as a wedding, or based on medical advice. However, here's the big trap. Feeling inspired is one thing - but it's another thing to stay motivated.

Here are 5 great tips that will help you to keep motivated during your quest to lose fat.

1. Set Small Goals

One of the biggest traps is setting massive goals and finding that after such a long period of trying, it doesn't seem like you're all that much closer to achieving your goal. The result? That's correct! You'll lose your motivation! The trick with setting goals is to set small achievable goals. This will give you a clear sense of achievement, satisfaction and ultimately show you that you are making progress. And when you reach your small goal, set the next small goal. Example: Instead of setting a goal to run for one hour every day till the day you die, make it your goal to run for 30 minutes, 3 times a week for the next month and re-evaluate how realistic this is for you and whether you can then increase your running activity by a small amount for the next month.

2. Reward Yourself

When you set yourself small goals, you are much more likely to achieve them. So when you do reach your goal, it is important to give yourself some credit. You will decide on the appropriate reward for achieving your goal but it must be something that you really want or enjoy that you don't do often and will motivate you enough to work towards it. Example: If you go to the movies every weekend, then setting yourself a rewards of going to the movies when you achieve your goal is not going to be very helpful.

However, if you are not a regular movie goer, this may be a worthwhile reward. Again, you can apply the same rule for going out for a nice dinner. Other ideas of rewards may be buying yourself something you've wanted for a while, taking a weekend holiday, going out for a coffee and your favourite piece of cake that you've been consciously avoiding during your fat burning period, buying yourself a DVD or a new mobile phone. The list of ideas is endless.

3. Get Some Accountability

Now whether you sign up with a personal trainer or simply enlist a friend or family member, it is important to have someone who knows very clearly what your aim is when losing weight and can provide you with that positive feedback and encouragement throughout your weight loss program. You could try to "go it alone" but you have a much greater chance of success when you have someone who is on your "team". No soldier is ever sent on a mission without a partner or a backup.

4. Go For The Early Wins

Make some big gains very early on. You can jump start your fat burning program by losing 5-10 pounds fast. This can be done just by changing what you eat. You will feel great and you will see results, which helps to keep you motivated.

5. Measure Your Success

This is not hard to do. And there is almost nothing more rewarding than looking back over those days, weeks or months and being able to clearly see how much progress you've made. They say that success breeds success. If you see results, you'll be motivated to keep going. Example: Some very simple things you can do include measuring your weight once a week and recording it, using a tape measure to regularly record the size of your tummy or waist. Something a bit different you can do is to take photos or video footage of yourself at regular intervals during your fat burning mission. Then compare yourself monthly and see where you have improved.

Remember to take action and keep focused on your goals no matter what and you will succeed!
To set yourself apart from the 50% of people who fail in their ambitions to lose fat, you will absolutely want to get hold of the amazing fat burning information available to you at http://www.trimfat.info. Don't delay!

What Are Raspberry Ketones and How Effective Are Raspberry Ketone Supplements For Weight Loss?

Natural compounds contained in raspberry plants that are capable of regulating metabolism the same as capsaicin and synephrine, and are chemically similar to them, are known as raspberry ketone. The reason that raspberries smell so pleasant is also because of the ketones, and they are also used in processed food as a flavoring ingredient. The compound is used in cosmetics to give them a nice aromatic scent. After numerous studies with rats, it has been proven that these ketones are fat burners, and this is the reason that raspberry ketone supplements are being widely marketed as an effective weight-loss solution.

It has been proven that people who want to live a healthy lifestyle and maintain a healthy weight can significantly benefit by using raspberry ketone supplements. People can succeed at losing a considerable amount of weight by using raspberry ketone supplements along with just about any type of diet. Raspberry ketones tend to be much more effective at burning fat and aiding in weight loss when combined with a low-fat and a high protein diet. Thus, it is because of these benefits that raspberry ketone products are highly in-demand.

When using raspberry ketones as a supplement, the core temperature of the body is raised. This results in an increase in metabolism, causing the body to burn calories and fat much faster, and this is the reason that this compound has become popular as an effective fat burner. Even the overall fat that the body absorbs from a regular diet is also reduced by these ketones as well.

In a study conducted in Japan, rats on a high-fat diet were fed raspberry ketones, which prevented fat from accumulating in their liver and other tissues; this of course, resulted in weight loss. This somewhat proves that these ketones from the raspberry plant are actually effective as a fat burner and to boost metabolism. So far there have been no documented studies done on humans for this compound but based on feedback from users; ketones seem to work on humans as well. No negative side effects have been reported.

It is because of these positive traits that people are often recommended by dietitians, nutritionists and trainers to eat a few raspberries with meals. People who adhered to a healthy diet and consume raspberries on a daily basis noticed positive weight loss results. Other than these benefits, the fruit is also rich in fiber and has a delicious taste!

Raspberry ketones offer numerous other health benefits; apart from aiding in weight loss, this compound also helps in maintaining the levels of cholesterol and fat in the body. Healthy blood pressure levels can also be maintained by consuming this compound. Thus, these ketones also help in maintaining the health of the cardiovascular system. Anti-oxidants are contained in this compound as well, which combat the harmful free-radicals in the body.

All of these beneficial and healthy properties make raspberries quite a healthy fruit. Supplementing with raspberry ketones is by far the most effective way to get to the daily recommended dosage (100mg-300mg) since it would take many pounds of actual raspberries to get the same amount of ketones; more than any human could likely eat in one day.

In conclusion, it is apparent that adding raspberry ketones into your daily diet regimen can aid in weight loss. Just remember, even though ketones have the potential to burn fat, this does not mean that they can replace regular exercise and a healthy diet.

15 Fat Burning Foods - Eating Your Way To Natural Fat Loss

foods that help you to lose weight naturally , natural fat loss , diet foods
Quickly, can you name 15 fat burning foods in the next 30 seconds? How did you do? Well, there are a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that are hyped as foods that you can eat to help you to lose weight. They are also known as negative calorie foods and have what is known as a high 'thermogenic' value. In other words, they use more calories in the digestive process than what is actually contained within the food itself. This process speeds up your metabolism, which can lead to fat loss.

In actuality, it is not the food that burns the fat, but the nutrients in these foods that help in breaking down fatty deposits and make it easier for your body to help flush out the fat. Also, when your body is properly nourished it has a positive affect on maintaining your blood sugar level. Regulating your blood sugar level has proven to be the most effective method to maintaining the body's fat-burning capacity by eliminating the feel of hunger.

Following are 15 fat burning foods known for accelerating fat loss; they are packed with nutritional value and can assist you in achieving your weight loss goal and improve your overall health in numerous ways:

1- Beans

Steep in fiber and an excellent source of protein as well as iron, a single serving of beans is very filling and can satisfy your appetite for hours. The great thing is that they come in many varieties including lima beans, black beans, kidney beans, navy beans, green beans, wax beans, northern beans, and garbanzo beans. They are great for helping to keep the blood sugar level balance.

2- Garlic

This staple has a worldwide reputation as a miracle food and comes in over 300 varieties; it contains vitamins A, C, and D. One of the most common is the American garlic; it has a white paper-like skin and a very strong flavor. Its many forms include whole peeled gloves, minced fresh cloves, dried garlic powder, garlic extract, garlic salt, and whole peeled gloves. Garlic contains the compound allicin which studies have shown can help lower cholesterol and high blood pressure; it is a natural diuretic food that aids the breakage of fat. It has been observed that allicin begins to degrade immediately after it is produced, so its medicinal effect decreases over time. Cooking degrades its even further and microwaving allicin, more likely than not, totally annihilates any health benefits.

To receive the optimal effect, crush a little raw garlic and combine with the cooked food shortly before serving. Be careful not to overdo it - too much can irritate or possibly damage the digestive tract. Keep in mind that raw, crushed garlic yields not only the most powerful flavor but, as an entry on the 15 fat burning foods list, it is an extremely effective ingredient to have as a part of your health and fitness arsenal.

3- Carrots

This vegetable contains high levels of carotene, which is transform into Vitamin A. Carotene stimulates the metabolic rate of the body and speeds the elimination of fat deposits and waste. In addition, research has shown that this compound may be of significant benefit for maintaining blood sugar level and possesses antioxidant properties that can reduce the rate of certain types of cancer as well as cardiovascular diseases.

4- Apple Cider Vinegar

Known as a simple home remedy for ailments ranging from sinus headaches to a sore toe, apple cider vinegar also has the natural ability to accelerate fat loss. Made from apples, it contains malic acid, which is an essential ingredient for converting sugars and fats into an energy source that fuels the bodily functions such as walking, running, breathing, and blood flow.

Apple cider vinegar also have high levels of potassium that has an antiseptic quality , which helps to eliminate stored fats. Pectin is another ingredient contained in the fresh apples from which the vinegar is made; it is a soluble fiber that binds to cholesterol globules and pulls them out of the body. It works 24 hours a day to help your body remove unwanted fat. This also helps remove unwanted heavy metals. Less fat and cholesterol in the body reduces the risk of just about any ailment!

5- Onions

Like its fellow vegetable in the 15 fat burning foods category - garlic, onions have minerals and oils that will help to promote fat loss by the breakdown of fat deposits and speeding up your metabolism. They also are rich in vitamin C and chromium. Chromium is a mineral that is promoted as a weight-loss supplement due to it's supposed ability to stabilize blood sugar levels and boost the body's fat-burning metabolism.

6- Tomatoes

Whether raw, steamed, fried, stewed, crushed, pureed, or reduced to a sauce, the tomatoes is one of the most frequently eaten "vegetables" in the United States. It has a high Vitamin C and Citric malic-oxalic acid content. The acid contains enzymes that will hasten the metabolic process. It also helps the kidneys to release more water, which filters out large amounts of fatty deposits. Because it is a "fatless" vegetable, many people employ tomatoes fat-loss diet for a brief period of time.

7- Celery

Raw celery has a high calcium content and when eaten the calcium is sent directly to work. This pure form of calcium will stimulate your endocrine system. The hormones in your body will break up the fat that is stored in the body. In addition, celery contains a high amount of iron and magnesium; these minerals are excellent for flushing out your system.

8- Cucumber

The high silicon and sulfur content in cucumbers works to stimulate the kidneys to filter out uric acid, which is a waste product formed from the metabolic breakdown of substances in food called purines. Once this uric acid is washed out, it speeds up the removal of fat, and loosens the fat from the cells.

9- Asparagus

A good vegetable source of vitamin E, and a natural treatment for rheumatism and arthritis, asparagus is also a natural diuretic that promotes the elimination of fluids in the body. This pick for 15 fat burning foods contains a chemical that accelerates metabolism by assisting in the breakdown of the oxalic acid that tends to bind fat to cells. Its affect in reducing fatty deposits into small bits makes it easier to expend them out of the body.

10- Beets

This is another powerful diuretic that supports the functions of the liver and kidneys. Beets wash out floating body fats; they are rich in a special iron that cleanses the corpuscles. Corpuscles are blood cells that can contain fat deposits.

11- Cabbage

Because of the cabbage ability to inhibit the transformation of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat it is of great value in the fat loss war. It contains the minerals iodine and sulfur, which cleanses the body of waste matter from the membranes of the stomach and intestines. If you have a pot belly or want to rid yourself of love handles, cabbage is a natural diuretic that will help to break up the excess fat stored in these areas.

12- Olive Oil

This item should be at the top of the 15 fat burning foods for everyone. Numerous studies have shown that the reasons for southern Europeans low rate of cardiovascular disease is their frequent use of olive oil as their primary source of dietary fat. By utilizing olive oil in the same way, you can reap the same health benefits. Extra-virgin olive oil (nuts, avocados, and canola oil) is made of monounsaturated fat and helps to lower the levels of the 'bad fat' ldl cholesterol and also the blood fats that are known as triglycerides.

The fats that you need to avoid, the saturated fats found mostly in animal foods and diary products, are what raise those levels. That is why it is recommended that you eat only lean meats and nonfat dairy products. The bottom line here is, olive oil, used in healthy amounts as a replacement for the "unhealthy fats," will enhance your fat loss program.

13- Apples

This is a food that is high in fiber and provides your body with volume; it prolongs digestion, which makes you feel full longer. Eating apples in place of junk foods, decrease the likelihood of you eating foods that are less filling and high in calories. This encourages stable blood-glucose levels. Because fat burning foods such as apples have fewer calories, they are popular in fat loss programs that involve calorie counting. The high water content of apples is another reason why apples are great for weight loss. The water within the apple is absorbed by the body and helps to keep blood-oxygenation levels high.

When this occurs, your body's metabolism is stimulated and burns glucose energy. A low blood-oxygenation level makes your body feel sluggish and the nutrients that you do eat cannot be effectively transported to the areas of the body where they are needed. So, why not add apples to your list, and the next time you feel the urge to have a snack, pick up one and start munching knowing that you are making a significant contribution to your fat loss efforts.

14- Oatmeal

There is a reason why professional bodybuilders have relied on oatmeal as a staple of their breakfast; it is very high in nutrients. It is an amazing source of cholesterol fighting, fat-soluble fiber that is filling and provides a good amount of energy to propel you through any workout. Avoid instant oatmeal and choose rolled or steel cut oats instead.

15- Lean Turkey

This is another favorite food of bodybuilders. Many studies have proven that the proteins contained in lean turkey boost the metabolism that promotes fat loss and helps to build up the lean muscle tissue that enables you to burn even more fat. (calories.) The reason lean meats stimulate metabolism and burns calories is because it uses more energy in the digestion process that other foods.

So there you have it, 15 fat burning foods that not only promote fat loss but contains vitamin and minerals that yield many other health related benefits as well. As with any changes in diet or fitness related activities, you should always consult with your health care practitioner first!

6 Great Tips for Fat Loss

Exercise alone will not lead to fat loss. Exercise must be accompanied by sound nutrition. The success of any fat loss program is dependent not on the number of workouts you get per week, but the quality of food you eat. Support your fat loss efforts by incorporation the follow 6 Great Tips for Fat Loss.

1. Eat every 2-3 waking hours

It is important to focus on fueling the body for the results you want. In the case of fat loss you will be looking to fuel the body every 2-3 waking hours. Use hunger as your guide. If your start the day off with a healthy breakfast you will find with in 2-3 hours you will be hungry again. This pattern will repeat through out the day as long as you are eating healthy foods. If you find yourself feeling hungry sooner then increase the protein intake for each meal. Don't confuse hunger with boredom. Often people with nothing to do will hunt through the kitchen in search of something to eat. Don't fall into this trap. Two tips to prevent you from falling into the trap: 1. find something to do, 2. drink water.

2. Don't count calories

Counting calories isn't fun. I do recommend food journaling as a means of keeping you accountable and knowledgeable about what you are eating, but it is not necessary to count the calories. The key is to adjust your mindset when it comes to portion sizes. Use visualization to help you determine portion sizes.

3. Don't drink you calories

Don't forget to account for the calories in drinks. Juices, coffees, teas and alcohol contain additional calories. If your goal is to lose fat; you need to be accountable for these hidden calories. The extra calories consumed in most beverages come from sweeteners. Sweeteners will impede the body's ability to burn fat.

4. Start the day with breakfast

Eating a healthy breakfast to start the day will start the day off on the right track. It gets the fat burning engine running. Skipping breakfast to save calories is a flawed strategy. People who skip breakfast, in an effort to save calories, are more likely to be famished by lunch time. Therefore, consuming more calories at lunch than they would have if they eaten breakfast.

5. Cheat once a week

Eating healthy is good for our bodies, but sometimes we need a mental break. It is okay to give into a craving from time to time. Give yourself permission to cheat on one meal per week. This concept allows you to post pone bad eating choices through out the week. So go ahead and choose one meal to indulge in your favorite foods.

6. Focus on single ingredient foods

Look at it this way: avoid processed foods. Nature has served man well for thousands of years. There is no need to venture far from the life giving foods that are naturally provided for us. Processed foods do more harm that good. Make a concerted effort to avoid them whenever possible.

Here are two examples of processed foods (comment below if you know what they are):

Item 1: Whole grain oats, modified corn starch, sugar, salt, tripotassium phosphate, wheat starch, vitamin E (mixed tocopherols) added to preserve freshness.

Item 2: mechanically separated turkey, turkey, water, sugar, salt, potassium lactate, natural smoke flavor (canola oil, natural smoke, natural flavoring), sodium diacetate, sodium phosphate, natural flavoring, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite.

Integrate these six tips into your fat loss regimen and you will be well on your way to a leaner sexier you.
